Function
The Tribometer applies for the physical teaching in middle
school for group experiment. This can research the law of sliding friction.
Structure:
Tribometer consists of friction plate and friction block. CTION
The size of friction plate:
length 500mm, width 50mm, thick 10mm
The size of friction block:
length 100mm, width 40mm, thick 30mm
Use:
During the experiment, the friction plate should put horizontal and steadily and the friction block must put it on. Using the ergometer draws the friction block, and then can measure the maximum static friction. When draw friction block at a constant speed, can measure the sliding friction.
Change rub face and add weight into friction block to do above experiment again. Validate the friction relating to pressure and friction coefficient. It does not relate to the rub face. During the course of experiment, the traction line of Tribometer should be parallel to friction plate.

1.The instrument make of dry woodwork, so keep from moisture and high temperature to avoid deformation.
